Looking for answers to your color questions, have some advice to give... or simply want to get to know your fellow COLOURlovers? You're in the right place.
Yeah, just scaring her a little bit
Couldn't hold my tongue any longer.
UPDATE: I was sent a message asking me to verify that I'm not a spambot, and when I verified that I am not, a second was sent to me stating that my message could not be delivered.
All of this happened within 60 seconds of sending the original message.
Seems they are aware that they're ripping people off before I said anything about it.
I beat you to it, Meimei. And I had to verify too but apparently my email was sent. Here's mine:
I had the unpleasant surprise of finding tons of my patterns and other Colourlovers.com users patterns on this page credit-less and a lot of them with your watermark which I found very distasteful. All Colourlovers patterns have Creative Commons rights and are made by people who put a lot of effort into creating them only to have disrespectful people taking them.
I'm reporting this to the Colourlovers staff and I'm not the first user to had this surprise on your page. The staff will get in contact with you.Yeah, just scaring her a little bit
These are the ones I've found so far.
-Huge list of CL patterns-
I'm GabGiggles on Colourlovers you can go and check yourself.

This website contains material which is owned by or created us. This material includes, but is not limited to, the design, layout, look, appearance and graphics. Reproduction is prohibited other than in accordance with the copyright notice, which forms part of these terms and conditions.
A digital watermark is a kind of marker embedded in an audio or image signal, typically used to identify ownership of the copyright of such signal.
Lastly in my defense, I make no claim that artwork found on my site is copyrighted to me, they are copyrighted to their respective owners. The watermark on background images merely signifies a link back when users use a theme and remove the link back.
Regarding the terms and conditions of my website, I must confess it was last updated on 07/16/10. I should have updated it as often as I update the footer and I will update it later.
And thank you for the advice. I'm here to resolve this issue and will entertain only legitimate posts in regards to images that belong to colourlovers.com
Thank you.
Hi, I'm writing in regarding my website dolliecrave.com.
I would like to apologize regarding the art work that was taken from
http://www.colourlovers.com/themeleon/twitter
I was under the misunderstanding it was free for all and that anyone can take them and even change/customize the colors.
Regarding most of the plaid and stripes category, they are generated using an online tool and are pretty generic on the internet.
and are not from colourlovers.
I may have some stripes from this place, and I'll remove those.
