These pictures were taken on our restoration trip to the Island of Kaho'olawe of Hawaii Nation The government use this island for target practice for over 50 years detonating hundreds of thousands of ordinances in cluding simulated atomic bombs. because of the heavy misuse of this island paradise the natural vegetation has been almost completely demolished leading to extreme erosion striping the island of all its top soil turning it into a barren mountain.
