Wow Dawn, you are so eloquent ... tearing up right now ... thank you SO much for your words of encouragement, you have NO idea how much they mean to me especially right now when it is all still raw. As you know, my husband is an alcoholic who has no interest in getting sober which is heartbreaking & frustrating. I was holding onto the hope that he would wake up & change but the scales of denial have lifted & I now realize I have to wake up & change, which is scary. Thank you my sweet friend, I am so blessed to have you as a friend and this wonderful site. Hugs xoxox

Hey Carly,

One who sees the best in others.. what they could be, even when they haven't got there yet... which often makes it all that much more difficult to say goodbye. But then you're practical too. Too aware, too bright, not to pretend you don't notice if something you'd invested in takes on a strong negative trajectory that puts everything else you hold dear at risk.

Thanks Hali, it does hurt to say goodbye or in my case "end" a marriage ... but the pain of staying is greater than the pain of leaving ... not going to be easy

Oh I am sorry to hear that..!:(Marriages should be stable and giving a hope and happiness,I guess..!And many people go through bad moments and make so many compromises in the name of this or that..Devorce is easy ..Building marriages and keeping them is difficult ,I guess.. !But I can not give you advice on that and i think nobody can ,sorry hun..!Give time to yourselves .My prayers will be always with you and I am sure you will find peace soon,dear Carly..!❤
