In my brief absence, my great-niece Ariyana learned to crawl on Christmas Eve. I've also been learning a lot about Persian culture. Happy belated Yalda!
I took up a teddy bear collection for the children and families in Newtown, Ct. which is only a half hour away from me. I wanted to do something and everyone pitched in and now that the town I hear isn't accepting anymore gifts and we just got our second huge snow today... I'm not sure where to deliver them? Maybe Salvation Army or American Red Cross? Any thoughts or ideas I'll gladly take.
If any of them inspires you to make a pattern, or the colours to make a palette: tag it CLAD and post your creations here
I'm unconventional in many ways at least I try to be ;) I have a mini zoo: think cat + 2 birds. You can see Lilly here. I've kept journals & diaries for forever. Because of colour lover's I now have a very cute chococat journal. Everyone here is unbelievably talented! I just wanted to say thank-you for sharing that beauty, opening that door and allowing me in to that part of yourselves. : )
I'm an Aunt + Great-Aunt + I absolutely love a great debate so I blog here... (which I kinda/sorta neglected in the BEST WAY ever to meet all of you!) and radio here bites so I listen to a fair bit of Pandora. Right now, I can tell I got soul but I'm notta solider.... I love that line.
(anybody noticed how I kinda favour green colours...?)
