Making a palette from a pattern

Showing 1 - 3 of 3 Comments
Hi there! I'm a newbie, and I'm just starting to find my way around. And I'm hoping that someone can help me with this. I'm wondering if there is a way to create a palette from a pattern? I mean that if I've created a pattern, and spent time selecting just the colours I want for it - then I'd really like to be able to save that group of colours to use on another template. I hope that makes sense!

And I just want to say thanks too, for the really warm welcome here. You guys are amazing! ❤❤❤
If I like a particular color group, I will often copy the numbers associated with those colors to use them again. Part of the problem is that the same amounts of colors do not always look good in other patterns. Colors have visual weights when they are next to each other and when you change the amount of a color that you use, you also change the way that color looks next to the same color in a different design.

Thanks for that! I was kinda hoping there would be a button I could press to save the palette, without having to write them all down. And thanks for the advice about the weighting too. :)
