What are tags and how do you use them?

"tags' are something that lets people search for your work (you can't change anyone else's tags). So, say you made a template with a jack-o-lantern. Click on your template to look at it. Just below it, where it says "ABOUT THIS PATTERN TEMPLATE", click on "OPTIONS" with the picture of the little gear. then click "EDIT TEMPLATE". In the tags box, you would type something like 'halloween, holiday, pumkin, jack-o-lantern, brittan27237604' (without the quotation marks). Click "SAVE CHANGES" and now if someone wants to make a halloween pattern, they can click "CREATE PATTERN" and type any one of those words in the "BROWSE PATTERN STYLES" box and click the search button to find it.

Tagging a template maker's name in your creation, is also out of courtesy to them. You should also consider tagging yourself. The way I usually do it, is I copy and paste the user's name, in the tag slot. I just click on "Edit", to do so.
