IF WORD SUGGESTIONS
This may seem stupid, but...where is the 7th IF word? o.O
Also, this is something I wish to see somewhere... TOUHOU!!!
N°7 is a complex word: Gesamtkunstwerk
The definition Capri uses and mine aren't the same! =P
For Capri it's any kind of german sounding items, for me it's anything that mixes several senses
At that time IF words were still very new... You can see all the words here , below in the 2nd comment:
List of IF words - these pages are always open!
TOUHOU, we could do a video game page? TOUHOU alone would be too specific I think?? Anyone heard about TOUHOU?
CRAZY PEOPLE. O_o Palettes inspired by well known lunatics.LaughingJacks wrote:

Actually if you do some research on Touhou there are 18 games, 8 volumes of print media and >100 characters. But video games is fine too I guess :DDD
Godesses
Olymp
IMO the IF-Word suffers from the new ANYRC thread because this is a fixed one. Hence the current IF-Word is mostly out-of-sight.OK - I'll make it un-sticky

Godesses
Olymp
Sun down/up won't be after weather

Mythology, Ancient greece?
i looked it up in the dictionary,
in English it´s OLYMPUS
we'll do crazy ppl after.. ^^'
looking for a good pic for the header.. any suggestions? Something that reflects the word or completes the meaning
Greek Mythology is certainly non controvesial although restricts us all to the Greeks only... Olympus could just mean the mountain but that's a bit of a cheat and iis a bit obscure to fire the imagination.
I was gently trying to make the point that the 'avoiding religious topics' stance is not always consistently applied, I bet a colour called 'The Smiling Buddha' wouldn't have raised an eyebrow (becuause buddhist don't tend to offend people) but the mere mention of Christianity, Islam or Satanism tends to get people frothing at the bit.
Personally, I don't think it matters, dead or not and that 'Gods and Godesses' is a fabulous choice and being non-denominational allows everybody plenty of leeway in interpretation and or freedom of expression. It also opens up the whole Roman pantheon and a whole host of Chinese, Egyptian and Hindu deities plus all the other weird and wonderful belief systems out there,

True that Olypus according to the dictionary is the mount Olympus where the 1st greek gods used to live - so it is restricted.
It's hard to set a limit - even crazy ppl could.. you know be used 'seriously'
Bah! But I need a word.. I think we'll do mythology. It's wide(it also opens Roman pantheon and a whole host of Chinese, Egyptian and Hindu deities ...l) and safe I think.. hope.
Wikipedia says
The term mythology can refer to either the study of myths, or to a body of myths.
so it's old legends - opposite to urban legends
and I'll use your pic
Thanks for the help!
Sounds good.
