i love Mouse´s posts to the IF-threads and don´t want to miss them.
o.k. spider- suggestion is cancelled.
i think i´ll find older IF-Words to do my spider posts intended.
maybe it´s even more Interpretation Fun.
My Nr.1 is now PLACES.
think we could use the "Picture of the Day" photos of National Geographic as inspiration.
there was also s.th interesting about "Travel by Colour" in the CL Blog some time ago..

Hey! - I'm just saying if 'Spider' is chosen I don't want to have to see lots of photos of eight-legged beasties popping up in the activity feed where I can't avoid them - I've only just recovered from seeing ycc's photo of the eight-legged 'chipinid' - I can see why the palettes and patterns could be amazing (it's just the accompanying photos!!!!!!!)

I wouldn't want to stand in the way of a popular suggestion (and I did create this template for Arachnakid, this one coloured by Ycc)

vote AGAINST crystal (IMO not very interesting)
pictures of semi-precious stones are more interesting to me
so maybe "stone / stones", if you don´t like "gem"
