You know, I've been thinking hard how to top my last few blends, and I have some great ideas, but it occurs to me I've been thinking too hard. I want to make some simple ones just to remind myself how pretty. I'm going to make a couple sampled from the same picture source while I'm doing my laundry.

Breeding Block Blends:
Here is today's experiment. I started by making a block blend with my RC palette.
Picked the colors other than the blended brown, because I figured brown would show up in the red+dark cross.

Then I blended the colors of the corners with this other Block Blend, using the Meyer Color Blender, as in the Palette Blend Game, and made a new Block Blend with the results (I think I got the red corner wrong... the Meyer blender glitches sometimes. When I checked with pourpre.com, I got a different color. But hey, it's close...):

Okay, here's a different one... these are all real palettes, although the block blend image is fake (was faster to make that way). It's not a block blend in the strict sense, just a progression.
I took the top palette, which is a blend of two palettes, and bred with another palette to make palette2 of this block. I blended palette 2 with another similar palette to make palette 3, etc. So each row is the result of blending a different palette with the row before.
