Color of the Year 2010

Stop. And think. Just for one minute. Imagine you are on top of a green, misty mountain, in the early morning, and it's so cold that you can see your breath. Your hands are numb and wet, and all around you, the world is awakening. Flower buds open, foxes and badgers lumber out of their dens, butterflies stop on flowers to suck up some of the morning dew. As cold as you are, you know that you are at peace with yourself and the world. This colour is all about the awakening of this year, 2010, and how we are called to be awakened to face the challenges ahead as a community. Just stop one day, and listen to all the life around you. Stop and listen to nature's calls. Often, we think that the earth is just a big heap of resources, that us humans can use as we please. Well, it's not like that at all. Together, we can make a difference in the name of nature, and we can bring it to justice and 2010 is the year to start.
