Wedding Invitation Design Ideas

Lotsa good palettable stuff in there...

Regardless that these are nice wedding invitations/save the date cards, most of these have lovely uses of typography, and some have some unusual and interesting colour palettes, which you wouldn't usually associate with weddings - I especially like the neon one - its not too over the top as its on a white background.

I'm not sure about the black invite which uses Helvetica Neue light as the font though, to me that says a bit more funeral than wedding, but then again maybe that's the point!

How can I submit a great looking wedding invitation to this list?

Well, I think black and a dark grey black will be the new upcoming trend for the fall. The top colors starting into the spring were mustard yellow and gray ....however, i personally did not do or know anyone to request those colors. I do like the black invite because of two things. 1. it sets the stage for formal 2. It also utilizes a very readable font with simplicity. The only thing I might would have done was split the words to when opened part the words were on each side....but after seeing it I understand why it's done that way to not distract from the words and leave them in tact for reading purposes. Weddings now days are anything but traditional. I am working on one that is totally off base to the traditional wedding...but it works ...My bride is wearing a Santa Claus long dress in red velvet and my attendants are wearing whit. Who said the bride had to wear white. This wedding is in the mountains and the bride and groom will ride off in a sleigh. We are using the off white stock double fold front invite with raised script in red velvet that unties with a satin black ribbon
