I was so excited yesterday with the trial version I spent about 8 hours, struggling on the barriers of memory crashing patterns, using complex .svg imported shapes from illustrator, eventually when I had finally finished my patterns I found out that I could not upload with the trial version :P I was then somewhat disappointed to find out that only creditcard payment was available. As I don't own one here in the Netherlands most online purchases go by iDEAL. Anyways I had fun creating the patterns ;D and its a nifty piece of app. I got to be honest though that it still has some flaws that I wouldn't consider bugs but they can be quite frustrating when it comes to the user friendliness of this tool. And while creating the patterns I missed certain features that are not available, like fitting the shapes to the exact borders of the canvas. Anyways this is a great version 1.0 and I hope you guys keep on making great applications!

Hello. You should be able to upload with the trial version. What error did you get when you tried to upload?

The actual upload feature is greyed out with my patterns, maybe its because I changed the dimensions of the canvas? Or maybe its related to the shape I imported, as when I draw with the standard shapes the upload to colourlovers stays white. I really don't know, so far I haven't hit a single error yet while working with the application.

Marnix_IxD Glad to see you excited about using the app!

Little tip here: You cannot upload to COLOURlovers.com when you use a custom template. You must use the COLOURlovers template if you want it online. :)

As for the other issue, it might be how you're creating / importing the svg.

Hi, I need to know if the seamless studio creates half brick and other repeating patterns for my fabric designs? I have already CS5 but thinking to purchase this as well but need to know if it offers this feature or not.Thank you

Beyond awesome-- As soon as I upgrade to Lion and CS5 (end of next week!!!), I will absolutely be buying this as well. I have SOOOO many things to design with this, I doubt I'll be getting any sleep...

Many of the imported Shapes give problem ,if we try cloning many times .Final Result is error I /O 2032-Why ?This problem ,We don't face with your customary shapes-There seems to be a bug-Having spent a lot of time in creating a pattern,u don't want it to go a waste-Hell

when i try to upload the pattern its greyed out and i cant see the details. i saw someone had the same problem before and i checked to make sure it was 200x200 and it was but it still didnt work!

You need to use a COLOURlovers template in order to upload it here. If you use a custom template, even if it is 200x200 it won't upload. Sorry.

if you xpand the first shape to cover the whole area it becomes unstable. also the pattern uploads in 2 shades although it lists the 5 gray chips underneath.

it is a color lovers template and it only doesn't work with the sag images I've created

The 2032 I/O error something we've been trying to figure out for awhile now. Because it's a fairly-random generic error that emanates from the AIR runtime itself, it's difficult to track down the solution. It appears to be more frequent for large patterns (1MB+). I'm working on it and will hopefully have a solution fairly soon.

The 912 error code means that the information coming back from COLOURlovers somehow got mangled---which should just be a one-time fluke. If you try uploading the pattern again, do you get the same error?

What are half brick patterns? I don't know if this relates to what you're asking about, but, Seamless Studio can create patterns with custom dimensions, like 400x200 for example. You can create patterns at whatever aspect ratio you like.

I consider buy seamless studio, but i need to have an anwser on this first.
if i try to import a custom shape( svg) from another program I amways get just a gray rectangle.What is it i do wrong;

Is there a way to import Colourlovers palettes into Seamless Studio? I know that I can upload to Colorlouvers and then apply the palettes but is there a way to bring the palettes into seamless? If not, is there a way to upload to Colourlovers and not make my pattern public?

When do we get an iPad version? I do most things on my iPad. I look forward to an iPad version of Seamless Studio.

Also, how do I couple a specific pattern with a specific palette? I am a little frustrated that I cannot apply a specific palette on patterns I love c.c;.

i have ound a solution to the reason some patterns do not upload. the .svg will not show if it contains 2+ colors. (and premade symbols also do not work)

I'd be glad to be a beta/alpha tester for you. And I didn't know the webbie awards were still around...I've got some of those lying around..like 12 or15 or so. Wow, that's kewl, I'm really glad I saw that here because I'm just getting back into things after a long four year sabaticle and gosh, between social marketing and standard development advancements, sometimes I feel lost. lol! Beta/Alpha testing, that's something I know.. haha ;)
I'm gonna try the Seamless Studio in the morning. Thanks for the 15 day Trial :)

i'm having problems uploading an .svg file to studio. not sure what the problem is :/ i took a graphic and saved it as an .svg in inkscape

I uploaded/imported several shapes .svg made on illustrator, and now its not working anymore, tried different kind os svg, tried rasterizing, flattening, cleaning paths, nothing worked... help please? is it a bug maybe?
