LauraKangas
1. I took a circle and pasted it.
2. I took the circle and stretched it into an oval shape.
3. I took the shape from the basic shapes which is in the fourth row, second one. It looks like circle with an x placed on top. I took this shape and pasted it.
4. I selected this second pasted shape and fit it to the oval I created and made it thinner.
5. Once you have it where you want it you go to the layer menu and while holding down the 'control' key on your keyboard, select both of the shapes. When they are highlighted go over to the last key at the top of the layers tab and click that (it looks like a pentagon with a plus sign).
This will then combine the shapes and allow you to name it and such. Also, then this shape will show up in your shapes in the pattern maker.
