Also a big thanks to our friends at MOO.com, the sponsors behind this awesome contest. As an online print company that creates a variety of materials including business cards, postcards, and MiniCards, they make it easy for you to share information about yourselves or your business in the real world. Just check out some of the inspiring designs their customers have come up with so far.
Before we dig in to the MiniCard contest winners, let's announce the winner of our MOO Scavenger Hunt! Last week we asked you to pick something you liked from the MOO.com website and create a color palette based on that. We got a lot of great palettes in the comments, but in the end there can be only one winner -- we went with life is a dance! by amyanneerickson based on the Nut and Bee designs. Congrats to Amy, who gets a $25 voucher to MOO.com.

The top 5 most loved entries will be included in the next COLOURlovers MiniCard pack by MOO and the creators of the winning palettes each get a $100 voucher to use at MOO.com.

It's an honour to be among the top five; I thought that Hefzibah, OrigamiMei, Volsak and Sugary all had gorgeous entries, and it feels really wonderful to be included with them. :)
Big congrats to Amyanneerickson too; I thought your MOO scavenger entry was brilliant, and I'm really glad you won, sweetie!
As a small note - the only way to guarantee you don't win is not to enter. ;) After that:
- Enter early - keep an eye on the blog! Entering in the first day always seems to make a big difference.
- Post your badges 'Above the Fold' - at the very top of your profile for the duration of the contest. Many people don't scroll down when they browse your page.
- Draw attention to your palette by creating new patterns and posting them in your palette comments. It really helps if you do this during peak traffic hours for maximum visibility. Do a google search for 'best blog posting times', if you need a hint as to when that would be.
- Keep an eye on the Zeitgeist - this time, voters seemed to favour widths and bright, happy colours mixed with warm neutrals. (...Will that be true next time? We'll have to see.)
- Vote for lots of other people's entries - it might not help your chances, but it is excellent karma. :)
