Heheheh,... In that case, that's why I always fail... Maybe one day I'll devote more time to it. :)

Mwah! I often say that gardening is the only hobby where you work with the hand of God. You really have no control over anything once a plant's in the ground, and patience is a must. Both of those lessons were hard to learn. LOL.

The colours work so naturally here! Are they perchance anything going in your new garden??? ;)

No, not really. I don't even use much yellow in the garden, except for a favorite daylily called 'Joan Senior'. It's a very gentle yellow, not bright at all—much like the yellow here but clearer. I get color-bold in my purples, blues, pinks, and reds. Some are soft, others quite electric. Indeed, I design with color versus shapes, foliage style, etc. And my style is impressionism. I use lots of small-flowered plants (hence the bold colors), and use garden art as my "architectural" components. Right now, I have too much art in my wee bed. But I'll get it all balanced out eventually. The garden was only put in place this past Saturday! Thanks for giving me the chance to talk about it. I very much love doing so.

Oh hello my long-lost friend! Thanks for your sweet words and all your recent loves. I so often think of you, too, and regret that we've drifted apart. I do hope all is okay with you. I've been fine as frog hair. Been very busy with remodeling our two bathrooms and designing our new garden (which is more like a flower bed than a garden). Things are going downhill though. My hubby's being orchestrated out of his job. It's such an outrage what they're doing to him because, after 27 years there, he doesn't deserve the humiliation. He'll be out of work soon, I'm sure, be it by termination or resignation. Gawd, I hate corporate bullies. It will all probably be for the best, but the financial adjustment will be drastic. There are few jobs in the Outer Banks that pay much more than minimum wage. Oh well, what would life be without challenges, right?
