Actually It's only one side of Russian winter, the evening side. We could even call the pattern 'The Dark Side of Russian Winter'.
But in the morning it's totally different. When the sun rises, snow can take all the colours of red and yellow, and it seems to be warmer than the sun itself.
But you've caught the mood. )

I'm just wondering how cold and dark it could be...My immagination is ruled by Dostoevskij, Zar...Zivago...I've never travelled across Russia...sob..sob..
