Catherine's Sofa

OMG! Just when I thought I'd finished using my Great-Aunt Catherine's palette to decorate her old home, along comes this "bohemianbouquet" pattern from prob21.

Not only did my paternal grandparents have frise (or frieze, pronounced free-zay), covered furniture but my Aunt Catherine - who lived a few doors down, as well. I could sit forever and wiggle the top loops back and forth under my fingers.

Typically a single color, I couldn't resist applying my Great-Aunt Catherine palette to this pattern that seems perfect for trying to recreate that frise look. I don't think the palette necessarily does frise justice, but you can bet that I'll be playing with this template a lot more in the future.

I sure loved that frise upholstered furniture. Hands down, this pattern may well be my top favorite for a very long time to come. Thank you, prob21!

Edit: My mother just gave me a few pieces of frise - enough to cover a footstool or two. Yaay!
