Thanks so much, daisy! This template is one of my favorites, even though it's older now. I imagine contest people are tired of seeing it. But if I were to win a big canvas print of my design I couldn't exclude this one. So in it went anyway. I like the stained glass, tinge of William Morris Pre-Raphaelite period I can imagine is in there. Also, it's got flowers. People admire more geometric and abstract symmetrical designs well enough here, but flowers and botanical shapes really float their boat. So I felt it would be stupid not to include a good looking flower among my three choices. At least it has a different palette than the ones before.
I can't make flowers well with this software. I can fake them using the flower shapes included in Seamless studio, but that feels like using clip art, even when I modify them heavily, as I have here. I need to study the shapes search engine for flower inspiration, and, of course, install some other vector software that will let me make new flowers and leaves more easily and import them over. What I think would really make the difference for me is custom shape fills, which Seamless doesn't do. You can see them on two of Prax's entries, even though they aren't flowers. She brought them in from Illustrator, apparently.
Well, enough of my long-winded maundering! Thanks for your kind comment!
