thanks for observing the title, nova! I'm so pleased you liked it! As usual the great generosity of your spirit credits me with more than my due, but I do thank you for it nonetheless! As to the softening - it is quite amazing what happened to the golden yellow colour in the pattern - it turned itself into a rather insignificant beige. I guess these thistles just have a modest nature! :)
