I know what you mean. I was just working on a palette that was very pastel - 3 were shades of the same color. I loved it, but as I always do, I checked the colors against a boat-load of random templates and couldn't find a single thing that would work with it. So I scrapped it.

Thanks. I have to thank surpriseice for helping me think differently about many of the colors I've used in my patterns. Sometimes my palettes look horrendous (like this one) but they work with the right template.

An even better idea! Oh, to know the fabric industry - and of course, have scads of money for a start-up. How far do you think we could get if I add my two cents to yours? So many of these patterns would make wonderful quilting material.
Not a bad idea! I might do the samething. At the same time I think about the company that will make fabrics from the designs or patterns we create here. I have thought about that and would do it if I was in better shape financially.
