Hi, Girl! It's actually not difficult... go to your twitter profile page, and choose the option "Edit your profile", then on the menu on the left pick "Design" , and look for the "Customize your Own" field.
In a different tab:
Pick a colourlovers design you like, and on the upper right side of the page, there's a little menu that says "Get this Pattern Image". Pick Preview, and when the page loads with the tile in the middle, save the image to your computer. That is the file you have to upload to twitter, in the customize your own field. It's like adding an attatchment to an email.
