Wow that's awesome! Who are your favorite bands? I really love 60s and 70s stuff -- I'm a child of the 90s, but that all came back when I was in high school, so I really love a lot of bands from that time -- The Doors are my single, all-time favorite band. Right now, I'm listening to my iTunes collection on shuffle (hence a weird mix of Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin, random big band and now a little techno : )
I'm in Vegas with a little insomnia, but should try to sleep soon. Guess I've just been needing to get my fix of color therapy. Have you been up all night??
LOL and a big ha ha! I wish I could get as drunk as to get sloppy and slobbery. But it's really rare for me to tie a good one on, probably because I have a cocktail or two nearly every day and am used to the stuff. It's just the way I close out the day. Now, I do occasionally get a tad tipsy...and then fall asleep. :-( Talk about a cheap date. :-)
Never got into Lynyrd Skynard or beer, and I'm not judgmental. If those indulgences make you happy, then go and be happy. Right now, I'm importing a bunch of CDs into my computer. They're mostly from the 60s and 70s, but I'm working on developing a really thorough collection of tunes from my lifetime. They help me remember what a full life I've had...and they make for great entertaining. I have an Apple TV, which lets me play my iTunes music through the speakers in my family room. It's so cool and great fun.
So, where are you that you're up at my hour of 5:30 a.m.?
Ha Ha! Cool chick, huh? Since all the bourbon commercials seem directed at men, I often think I'm just a redneck!! As for vodka, I think it's a real ladies' drink and quite classy. :-)
Awww, Linda, you are just awesome. Beautiful, brave, smart, kind, one helluva an artist AND you drink bourbon? That has to be, like, the epitome of cool chick! lol. Honestly, I've always been more of a vodka kinda girl, but I would be most honored to have a bourbon with the queen : ) Let's have a great 2012, ok? XOXO!
Linda, YOU are the one who is pure gold and CL is certainly a more beautiful place because you are in it. Congratulations to you my friend : )

Awesome! What about Seals & Crofts? Neil Young? Santana? Mamas and the Papas? All pretty instrumental and harmonious : ) One of my sisters and I came up with this term, "osmosis songs" -- they're old songs that you surprisingly know all the words to, though it's usually because you grew up listening to a lot of it. That's how Chicago is to me!
That's so cool that your husband plays the guitar. It must be awesome to chill out and listen to him. I actually took guitar lessons for a few years when I was a teenager and my teacher loved the Beatles, Wings, Doobie Brothers, Yes -- pretty much all the bands you listed as your faves! So I was lucky to get exposed to that and develop an appreciate for them.
Las Vegas is a great town -- behind all the neon and craziness, it's surprisingly homey and normal once you've lived here for awhile. When were you here and why didn't the hubby like it? This city has changed a lot over the years!
I did end up passing out not long after we started this conversation! But dear Linda, it is so nice to talk with you and get to know you better, too -- beyond the usual "♥ this template!" and "Thanks for the love!" -- though I'm sure we'll continue to have many more of those as well!!
