I know what you mean. I've been experimenting a lot with deep blues/pinks/reds. I keep attempting to get this perfect shade of blue that I have in my head and I still haven't found it. As for the pinks/reds.. I'm never really happy with anything that I do with them aside from the 1LP that I did for prax. I LOVED the way that turned out. I'm also really bad with bright yellows.
