Description
So I had this colored earlier...but CL froze and I lost it. (Er...the pattern, I mean. I didn't lose it (with it being in the sense of freaking out (it really is a versatile word, isn't it?))) This meandering is why i have no friends. :/
Anyways. This isn't quite what I had, but it's nice anyway.
ALSO. If you have a better name for this, don't hesitate to put it in the comments sections. This name is stupid. This name is crap.
EDIT: This was not planned, but it's kind of amusing.

EDIT 2: Made this palette:

You don't lose your rights if you post on flickr, thankfully! =) Your works are copyrighted, and you can set the level of protection of the images yourself. This means you can even prevent your images from being used on outside sites, like this one. And, make it harder to steal/download them. (It is still possible for someone to download them, but they have to use workarounds.) And you can opt in to have the stock photo company partnered with flickr look over your works with an eye to buy. But this also opens the door for a stock photo company to find them and claim you stole them from the company. I am careful, and since becoming aware of this have been keeping the unaltered images with exif information doubly backed up in case I do have to prove they are my works. But the problem is, in civil cases it is your word vs. theirs and the presumption of guilt is higher. It isn't innocent until proven guilty in civil cases. You have to *PROVE* you are innocent.

The fellow who put up this site hired a company to make a website for him, which used stolen stock images to make the graphics. The company sent him (and not the company who made the graphics) a demand letter... O_O
My biggest problems are, number one, if I want to sell the rights to my photos I will go to the company. Don't call me, I'll call you. (flickr touted the fact that Getty was there to find more photos for their stock. Fortunately that was opt in. They buy the photos for a song, then make a killing. You can't really make much money with photos now. Companies go to amateurs, give lowball offers, and make lots more money from the ads they put the images in. Video too.) Secondly, some photo companies use software that scans the net for "their" images and they then send out demand letters to people who didn't steal a thing, it is their own work. But the problem is, either way they are out money. Either via proving that in court, or just giving the company the money they demand to make them go away.
Edit: There are other companies sending out demand letters now. Corbis, Superstock, Masterfile, and Imageline are doing similar!

If it's not a word, we can make it one! Meanderers unite! Although we might not get anything done because we'd be sidetracked so often.
