Added on 11 July, 2007 DescriptionThis is a demonstration of how my colorblindness works. There are two colors on either side of the white separator: one green, and one yellow/brown. You can probably perceive the difference in each pair of colors. But in my world, the two colors on the left-hand side look identical. And, the colors on the right-hand side look almost identical to me -- the color on the far right has a slight "red component", therefore I know that it's orange, even though it doesn't look particularly orange-like. Greens seem to be the hardest for me. I suspect that the greens I see aren't as vivid as they are for most people. (Also this may be why so few of my palettes contain green, eh?) For example, the green bulb used in traffic lights has never looked green to me, rather it's a bluish white to my eyes. But on the flip-side, I seem to have some extra perception with reds. Reds are always super-vivid. This must be why I've created so many reds ;) Anyway, I hope this is interesting... ![]() ![]() |
