Description

In better times,
It was once more clear
My status among men
Was God
And the Holy Ghost
Was the puppet of the engine.

Now the keys have turned,
The vaults have flooded,
The gold has melted,
And my scepter is hot in my hands.
One foot in Mecca,
Ankle-deep in Meggido,
I'm in over my head
In nothing but air.

In the final times
I have cast my head in gold
And my manhood in nitrogen.
I am holding my hammer,
Wound and ready,
Unsure of which
Deserves the first crack.
