Löwenbräu Tent

The Löwenbräu-Festhalle is one of the 14 main tents at the Munich Oktoberfest festival. Although it is not the largest Oktoberfest tent (it can seat 5,700 people inside and another 2,700 outside), it is one of the most spectacular. Above its entrance is a 4.5 meter (15 foot) lion who occasionally drinks from his beer, and this is overshadowed by another tower where another drinking lion sits. This beer tent is the meeting point for fans of the TSV 1860 Munich soccer team known as the “Lions”. So if you are searching for extraordinary hospitality and a bombastic atmosphere, you’re guaranteed to find it there!
