I love the tarnished, aged look of these colors.

I was skimming through some of my old X-Files contest icons for livejournal and came across this one. The photo was of Gillian in this strange, courtly outfit. I turned her into a vampire with Mulder (naturally) as her willing victim.

I absolutely love muted colors. Anytime I use them my customers say, "Um, can you, uh ... make them ... uh, brighter?" and my boss says "Uh, is something wrong with your monitor, 'cause these colors are all .. um, dusty looking." I guess that's what happens when you're a typesetter in a small print shop. You're such an inspiration. Thanks. ^ - ^
