I believed in you
Knowing that you're impossible to move
You are broken and I cannot fix you
Enough to keep you from hurting me
You will hurt me with your misbehavior
And your failure to communicate
The information I deserve


You don't apologize for not following through
With the plans you make
You initiate and wait for me to rush over to you,
And panic that you've forgotten

Now I'm aware that you always manipulate
The people you "care" about
Always pretending that you're somebody
One cannot live without


Well I am not that somebody anymore
Now I know how important it is to stand up for what I believe
And there is nothing here to achieve
I do not value what's sure to come out of your sleeve,
Like I used to
I am not who I used to be
You can't have me hanging on your words
As if they are of any worth, at all


I've fallen once so that now I am standing tall
I can walk away knowing
I didn't let you change my mind
I am not hating myself this time
Trying to find solutions to problems that are not mine
