Added on 17 May, 2008 InspirationHis Smile I mentioned Cloud in my previous comment about FFVII, but he stands on his own as my favorite character in the history of ever. Childhood stalker-crush on Tifa notwithstanding, he's a good guy. I like good guys. I love that his aspirations ultimately boil down to human necessities. He may talk big in the beginning, but all he really wants is a place to belong, and he's fine with that place being in obscurity so long as his loved ones are there with him. I also love that Square chose to make his final Fight For the Planet (TM) parallel his struggle to be good father--and I love that the focus remained on that struggle without falling into the "son becomes the father" cliches. Lady I'm drawn to the strong, feminine heroines--fictional and otherwise. Just think of Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday: a beautiful princess that will bash your head in with a guitar if she has to. I get this vibe from Namie Amuro too; the fictional characters I associate this with most are Tifa Lockhart, Princess Garnet, Princess Zelda and... it's in her blood My dream job is directing or producing a Parasite Eve re-make. This is partially because I have a semi-embarrassing girl crush on Aya Brea, but mostly because I think poor marketing and a flailing second installment caused the franchise to implode. Aya has too much potential as a strong, respectable heroine to be left by the wayside. Peach Lite My silly, pointless domain Peach-Arrow.net has been a big part of my life for the last six years. I -- or, my mother -- initially purchased it when I was 15, and I've learned a lot through maintaining it. Although I no longer want to make websites for a living, it's still a treasured hobby (in need of a lot of work, unfortunately). baby love Tifa the Poodle is my first dog. She takes advantage of this. "Diva" may not sound much like her namesake, but she also trots around like a princess. She's a little lady, and I love her more than anything. DescriptionMy first palette for this challenge was based on the look of the whole palette; this time I tried using colors that also shared a name with what it represents. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
