Chicken Apple Dogs

Chicken Apple Hot Dogs with Blueberry Ketchup

Ingredients

6 hot dog buns
6 chicken-apple sausages, precooked
2 medium red peppers, cut into thin strips
1 large white onion, cut into thin strips

Blueberry Ketchup Ingredients

2 medium plums, skinned, pitted and chopped,
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon allspice
3 tablespoons shallot
1 1/2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 to 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper (optional),
3 cups fresh blueberries
Salt and black pepper

Place all these ingredients in a food processor and incorporate it all together; use as condiment for the Chicken Apple Hot Dogs (and/or Sausages). YUM!
