Old & Alone

"actually fixed it" ? what that mean? ... I don't mind the getting older part, i just hate looking so much older ... when i look in the mirror, i no longer see ME or an older version of me, i see my birth mother staring back at me. i miss me :( Wisdom is hard-earned. The Bible tells us that white hair is a sign of wisdom, and if we ask HIM for wisdom it is the one thing He will generously give to us ... but it doesn't tell us He has to break our hearts in order to give it to us.
Whenever ppl tease me about the wrinkles around my eyes, i tease them right back, 'those aren't wrinkles, thank you, they are life-lines ... from a lifetime of laughter and tears'

Funny you should mention this...The reality is most people are not satisfied replacing young, pretty, etc. with wise. I just had the same thing happen and actually fixed it :) Now I feel a new 'palette series' coming on ;)

true, we're never really alone, but we can certainly feel the pangs of lonliness, maybe i should change the title to 'old & lonely'? ; )
