Not a good image since it doesn't show much of the track and it doesn't show any of the jockey's colors (red and white). Just use your imagination! ;-)

Description

This is the second palette (and pattern) I've made in my series of racehorse-inspired colors and palettes, and it's dedicated to my personal favorite horse, Ruffian.

There was a made-for-TV movie about her on ESPN recently. I honestly didn't like it at all, so I dug up an old copy of Ruffian: Burning From the Start and re-read it for the dozenth time. :-)

Ruffian died giving her all in a match race. Among those who study such things, she could have been the best and most talented Thoroughbred in the word. And she's definitely the best female horse to ever step onto a racetrack.
