Alas, I must forsake it. And it does pain me. But I figure I'll learn about new plants that thrive in a new type of environment. Then, I'll build a new garden that's not too big for me to maintain! I also have to sell my much-loved cottage white furniture. We're moving into a house that's one-third the size of this one. Talk about downsizing & simplifying. OMG, it's such a challenge. But this is all about getting my husband away from the stress, anxiety, and misery of the place where he works. He'll actually still be working for the same company, but he gets to work three weeks a month at the beach and one week a month up here in Virginia. It's all a big risk, and it does cause me to worry sometimes. But this is my hair-brained idea, and I can't let my concerns show. Somehow, we (I) will make it work.

Hello my love ... Yes, I've been quite busy, and I'm doing terrific. We're buying a house at our beloved Outer Banks beach area (on the sound side of the peninsula, not the ocean side). It's a v-e-r-y l-o-n-g story. Now working on fixing up our home here so we can sell it. Hoping to move sometime in October. Miss you and think of you almost every day. Hope you, too, are doing well. xoxo
