Added on 15 February, 2008 InspirationInspired by the antique hanging scroll "Autumn: Two Women Gazing at the Reflection of the Moon". This beautiful example of Japanese Edo period art was created by Kubo Shunman (1757-1820) using woodblock print technique with natural colors and gold on silk. It is part of the Smithsonian Freer Sackler Collection of Japanese art.
