One cool side effect with the patches though is that if you leave them on all night, your dreams go super vivid and crazy. I think it's because normally you aren't getting any nicotine when you sleep, and then with the patch your brain is getting a continual dose all night.

i've been trying to cut down, it worked for about 2 weeks when i went from 20 to 5 a day... i've replaced my at-home smoking with rolling tobacco, i figured if it makes me dizzy i will be able to cut down. after 2 weeks i overestimated myself and here i am again. hopeless. but - good luck to you! have you tried those nicotine patches? i'm hearing a lot of good about them.
