1962-what a year-ME

OK don't laugh, so I just turned 50..what of it!??! haha! The year 1962:
1-The First KMART was opened (Garden City Mich) AND the First WALMART opened (Bentonville AK).
Glad it wasn't in the same city.

2-Andy Warhol Painted his famous "Campbells Soup" cans and had his first gallery opening in Los Angeles.


3-Marilyn Monroe was found Dead from an over dose of sleeping pills...so they say.....


4-On my Birthday (July 12) The Rolling Stones played their first performance ( Marquee Club, London)


5- The Cuban Missile Crisis-In the fall of 1962, the United States and the Soviet Union came as close as they ever would to global nuclear war.
