1) I love roses (the flowers-- any color of them!, the scent, the flavor, rose pink colors...)

2) I have two beloved kitties, Clementine (Clemmie) and Bowie



3) my favorite place in the world is Cape Cod, and one of my favorite parts of the Cape (where my husband and I got married 14 years ago) is the historic district along Route 6A, also known as the Old King's Highway

4) I grew up in Massachusetts from age three, but was born in Harlan County, Kentucky, at the time of the coalminers' strike that was the subject of the Oscar-winning 1976 documentary "Harlan County USA"


5) I'm a huge fan of Neil Finn and Tim Finn (Crowded House, Split Enz, Finn Brothers)... "loungeroom lizard" is from the Crowded House song "Weather with You"



extra fact: (hat tip to Luna Rosa for inspiring me to sneak an extra fact in the title :) "four things and a lizard" is a line from the Doctor Who episode "Blink," with the character Sally Sparrow... my love of Doctor Who is one reason that I chose my username.
