Description

One of the finest things, for me. Was viewing the Topkapi museum. Like the British museum, far too much to see in a day? For me anyway. Likely, it would take some months? To view all of the objects and art. Interestingly, here, Socrates a greek; is given a large turban. The students, may be Plato and Xenophon? Certainly, we mainly know of Socrates, it is said; through those men.

Film? Now you're dating yourself? teehee! As you say. The beauty of everything in that place. That it must have been quite the civilization? Producing such tributes. To think that we were only seeing, but a small part. Yet the museum had around five very large rooms alone, dedicated to the pottery. The living artwork of the whole palace was .... "a riot"? Yup you can pick that subject matter for a palette and almost never exhaust the subject matter? doncha' think? Anyway, I would be happy. Though, I do enjoy the opportunity viewing some great artwork through the APC. .... Cheers Jamie.

I have been to the Topkapi Palace and Museum, I couldn't stop taking photographs, every time you turned a corner there was something even more beautiful to see...and then I ran out of film!!

Maybe we can do a challenge on Persian Miniatures too..!
