She was never cold; but today, she donned a thick, woolen sweater the color of dull amethysts. She never put milk in her tea, but here her mug sat. Murky Earl Grey, warmer than the air around it. Sometimes, there was snow on the ground in February. She looked out the window and the overcast sky gave the snow-covered ground a blueish-hue. Today was her birthday and that was always the same.
