Description

A challenge sent to me by Hana*, where one is supposed to write five things about themselves with the palette created. Well I've went to write 5 things about myself based on the names of the colors I've chosen for my palette
This was hana's

Here are the descriptions for mine --
Hyperdrive*
I have loads of stored energy, and I find it kind of hard to restrain at times especially when in the process of creating or designing something. I'm famously known to walk circles around the room when in deep thought.
T e r r a c o t t a
My favorite lipstick color. It's the only color that goes rather well with my skin tone... Looks kinda orangey here though. The real terracotta, well that's the color for me!
Mangosteen!
A local fruit in Malaysia. Here it is given the title "Queen of Fruits". The color represents the color of ripe mangosteen outer shells. Split the shell open, you'll see the bright white flesh inside - the edible part. It's one of my favorite fruits. My husband grows a copse of the mangosteen trees in his orchard out of town :) Isn't he sweet?
Carlisle
The color I plan to paint on the main wall of the Living/Dining area of my new home! I just love this shade of purple... "Carlisle" is actually the name of the color written on the paint charts of my favorite paint company JOTUN (okay a little endorsement there)
Crock Pot*
I LOVE to cook! One of my favorite methods of cooking is slow-cooking; stews, porridge, soups, roasts... Thus the crock-pot is a favorite utensil in the kitchen!
I hereby tag -- zell@yahoo.com, Luna Rosa & Wordofmouse :)
Gosh I love this game!

Oh I do agree with you. I've always been a naturalist, going out without makeup is nothing for me. But when I do use a little lipstick it's always teracotta :)
Yes, sedaaaap! *grins* I guess we'll need to wait till they're in season first :P
Yeah it has been fun knowing about others on here too. Now that o2bqueen's formed that "It's All About Me" group (have you heard? link) it's going to be awesome! Oh and Dawn's even gotten a theme song for it too...

Thank you Shahrizat for sharing this with us. It's great to know a little more about you this way.

the tones, the colors, the widths... makes everything look so beautifully.
so rich and velvety - like a evening after a beautiful sunset.
wheeeee ! mangosteen! i love too ♥.
in Japan, there is a high-class mango. the price of one is 20,000 yen. ( 257 dollars ) * swoon *
it became famous on Japanese television. i have not eat it yet. * sobs. * hahaha.
yeah, JOTUN's naming is very interesting. "Sugartop Mountain" "Sleeping Beauty" "Tea Flower" ... etc.

Thanks Linda :) It would be great to learn more about each other. It's like the palettes will tell a story about their creators.
I'll try :) I do love writing. Might be a good opportunity to start writing again! *hugs*

It's great to say hi to you again! I have to get going now - the weather is hot and dry here and some of Glenna's plants are wilting a bit. I need to help her finish watering the plants before Steve gets home.
Since you love to cook, you might like to try this recipe. It is "Penne with Asparagus, Olives & Parmigiano Breadcrumbs" and is from Taunton's Fine Cooking online. Glenna first made it a year ago, and it's become a meal she and I make once a week. The flavours are delightfully well balanced and really excite the palate. It's easy to eat far too much of it! :) I recommend using a block of Parmigiano Reggiano - the best, genuine Italian Parmesan cheese (though you probably know that already) - rather than dried Parmesan, and grating it yourself, either in a food processor or by hand.
