Hi Worf ... a warm hello from across the pond ... actually I had to look up the genus name but peonies are one of my favorites ... they remind me of my grandmother ... she loved them and grew some amazing ones in her garden. Good luck with those tomatoes!!

Aha! Someone else who gardens, or at least, knows the genus name for peonies! Well done! :))

Speaking of gardening, it's time for me to get outside and get some work done before it starts to rain again. Here in southern B.C., we have had a terrible summer! It's been consistently cold and rainy. I don't know why I even bothered to plant tomatoes, because they're not doing much; granted they are undercover, but I really should have kept them in the greenhouse.
