Once upon a time at a design school in Chicago, there was a friend of mine just entering the typography world. She couldn't describe Helvetica for the life of her; no clue about any of its characteristics. I took her on a Helvetica hunt through the city, and even by the time we took one of the buses we were burnt out on it.
