I used to tell people that my only litmus test for the durability of a friendship with them involved never hearing them say I "thought too much" or "used big words"-- many tested, few passed.

Top off that glass? That solves the problem about thinking whether the glass is half empty or half full. The engineer would have ordered a smaller glass.

I was once told by a very good friend of mine that if I was a super-hero my powered would be to think about things too much until me head exploded... I'm not exactly sure how beneficial that power would be, but it does sum up how I can over-think things sometimes.
