thank you for answering at length! I have been reading some Indian novels, but haven't found too much by Pakistani authors - so this caught my eye. Thank you again. Proves inspiration can come from all sorts of sources!

I don't know more about her than is generally known, but as the youngest and first female ever to be Foreign Minister, with 2 children, is, despite the elevated position of her family, impressive. This palette came about after I saw an interview with her on TV, in which I was impressed by her composure, intelligence and diplomatic sense, and what seemed to be a sincere striving for nations to get along. Her sense of style is much talked about, and on that occasion she was similarly well-dressed. The colours of her attire and the wooden panels behind her made a beautiful impression, so I mentally memorised them and made this in honour of this young and promising woman. Four of the patterns are also in honour of her.

what an interesting palette - probably the first one inspired by a Pakistani politician! if you have time to tell me, how did Ms. Khar come to your attention? she sounds fascinating.
