DevilsApricot

i still play with lego
mostly with my son

DevilsApricot

i was doing a university summer work thing during the summer of 86 (right after chernobyl)..in sarstedt...closest city would have been hannover...i worked in the kitchen at an AOK Bildungszentrum...

_stefan

Where in germany have you been btw?

_stefan

Okay, at this time I was nine years old and played with Lego. But I have a four year older sister and might got my eighties highschoolfilm facination from her :)

The word salad was really funny!

DevilsApricot

i was IN germany in the 80s...3 months in 1986...

but yeah, the "in crowd" at my highschool was just a little too spaderesque for me to like him then...his role is so good in BL tho...the night terrors, the word salad, the fear of clowns, his friendship with espensen...

_stefan

I think Spader is just great BECAUSE of his eighties roles. It's so funny: Then he was a Yuppie trying to play a boy and now he seams more like a boy trying to play a Yuppie. I love pretty in pink but otherwise I never had to went to highschool in the USA. I don't know Canada very well but it might be closer in culture to USA than germany in the eighties (hope you understand what I mean, 'cause I don't ;).

_stefan

James Spader is cool! Alan Shore in Boston Legal is my role model ;) The palette is lovely! Again.

Here's his mentor, not that eyecandy ;)
