No you picked the right portion of it...and those who know Alice in Wonderland....know exactly where the phrase comes from....
Not many people really get the story...and some parts of it I still have trouble with. It's a story with phases of meaning and it fits accordingly most of the time in which life phase you are in. From babies to adults it is a story (actually never really meant or wrote for kids) from all ages a like a favorite. As it became the most famous from the little golden book classic and disney.
