October in the 50s

nothing ever stays the same...

does anyone remember when, in october, all the leaves were falling off the trees, and it was all brisk and people were just starting to put on their fall colours and bundle up? especially on All Hallow's Eve: where all you'd hear was the crunch of dead and dying leaves underfoot and the sound of children screaming with delight; smell the cocoa starting to come through the bricks of peoples' houses, the smell of leaves burning; see all the fall colours and the children in their Halloween attire? due to the remnants of politicians being total jackasses and people being complete and utter idiots, we don't have trees that die in autumn; we have trees that die in december, or august. we don't have snow on thanksgiving anymore. we don't have anything that we used to remember. this pallette is dedicated to all of the smells, sights and sounds that some of us remember, when we were young...
