Rothko's last minimalist art was the 6 foot by 8 foot pool of his own blood after his suicide, large enough to be called a "colour field", by his own minimalist terminology.

This one went to Black Mountain College, and was inspired to produce "White" paintings. Go figure. I attribute the color differences to bad lighting in the museum.

If the professionals try this, people give them a ton of money and say how great they are.

I actually really like this. I can see a distinct difference between each color when I stop to really look at it for awhile. I love watching the colors slowly shift from one to the next and back again. Nice job.

I did, and folks griped about the white end.

the colors have a difference in value of 1/256 of each primary colo(u)r....it's basically a solid color, I can see how this could be really...good idea w/ this pallet, I think you should try it again with more of a little more of a gap between colors.

I was juggling names. The hex codes were available, but yes, they could have had a wider range.

Too subtle. I think I understand what you were going for, though.

I don't like it, I can't feel a palette if I only notice a colour.
