Hi there! I used to be quite active here at ColourLovers about 5 years ago but real life got in the way. Several of my past colors, palettes, and patterns were fairly well received, so now that I've decided to make time for some creativity, I hope it's still buried somewhere inside me just waiting to get out! Lots of changes here since my last stint and there appears to be a learning curve but I'll get things figured out eventually.
I'm a crazy cat lady who happily clings to her "Southernness" and I'm unapologetically obsessed with meteorology (especially storm chasing and the amazing photos/color schemes that result from Ma Nature's savagery), reading (whose book covers are often a wonderful inspiration as well), and NASCAR (whose sponsor paint schemes aren't exactly known to inspire pleasing color schemes except perhaps the 48 of Jimmie Johnson but oh well).
I'm not conceited enough to think I have the best palettes out there, but each of them is special to me for some reason or other. You should probably know that I'm generally not a bright colors person, though an inordinate number of my palettes end up bright and cheery. Also? I'm a wee bit obsessed with pink and orange so expect to see a lot of them.
Interested in finding out more about me and my personality? Head on over to my Facebook page! It's always nice to make new ColourLovers friends! (Yes, I tend to ramble there, too, but have been informed that it's usually entertaining and worth reading. :-)
Edit: Finally found my old account (purrgurrl) but can't access it so I'm recreating some of my favorite palettes from that account. Sometimes I'll use the exact same colors, sometimes I'll tweak a color or two in the palette a bit. I'll note in the description if it came from my original account. If you followed my old purrgurrl account, I would be honored if you'd follow my new account as well! Hope everyone enjoys the new as much as they did the old, I know I will! :-)
